Traffic is tailing back on to the M7.

A collision on the M9 is creating significant delays for motorists.

It has taken place at the M7 slip, west.

Gardaí are currently at scene at a serious RTC on the M9 that occurred between junction 1 and junction 2 southbound and traffic is now reduced to one lane. Delays expected. pic.twitter.com/sQEql17YcH

One lane is affected.

Traffic is tailing back almost to the Naas South exit.
