Community groups, sports clubs, and residents’ associations across Kildare can apply from October 28th to December 22nd.
Kildare County Council has launched Round Two of the Community Climate Action Programme, offering €897,000 in grants to help local groups tackle climate change.
The funding will support projects such as energy efficiency upgrades, biodiversity initiatives, waste reduction, and sustainable transport schemes.

Community Climate Action Officer Stephen O’Reilly says the funding will help deliver practical, locally focused projects with real climate benefits.
Drop-in Library Clinics will take place across the county throughout October to help applicants.
