There are plans to deliver four new age friendly social housing units to Leixlip.
Kildare County Council has signed a contract appointing Showglade Construction Ltd. as the main Contractor and Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS), for the upcoming Newtown House Lane housing project, located at Captain's Hill, Leixlip.
Funding is being provided under the Social Housing Investment Programme, through the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
Completion is expected in 2027.
The construction stage design team is being led by the Kildare County Council Architects Department, which completed the Part VIII design of the development.
Last month, Kfm reported that 629 new-build social homes are now in the delivery pipeline for Kildare.
