Not all stations pass on savings after Dáil backs temporary fuel tax cuts
Some fuel forecourts have started to drop their petrol and diesel prices, but many remain unchanged.
It's after the Dáil voted last night to cut excise duty on a litre of diesel by 20 cent, and petrol by 15 cent until the end of May.
A Kfm listener sent a photo from a forecourt in Kildare town showing Diesel prices at €2.35 per litre.
The measures are part of a €235 million Government plan to offset rising fuel prices due to the conflict in the Middle East.
Transport Minister Darragh O'Brien says the Government is watching to make sure petrol stations pass on the cuts:
