Gardaí are appealing for information after a minor was assaulted in Clane.
The incident took place at a Choice shop on the Dublin road in Clane on Monday June 29th at approximately 12:55pm.
Two people had attempted to steal items from the shop, when they were prevented from doing so by members of staff.
The two suspects attacked one of the staff members, who is also a minor, before fleeing the scene.
The staff member is said to have sustained minor injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area or has anyone information to contact Leixlip Garda Station.
