The male youth was attacked on the Leixlip Heritage Trail
Gardaí are appealing for information following an assault in Leixlip.
The incident occurred on the Leixlip Heritage Trail at approximately 5pm on Wednesday 4th January.
A male youth was attacked while walking, he was knocked to the ground, and his runners taken from him.
The vitctim sustained injuries, including a fractured arm.
