Searches were carried out in the area on Monday.
Gardaí in Tallaght have seized cigarettes and tobacco with an estimated value of €1.36m.
The cigarettes seized represent a potential loss to Revenue in excess of €1m.
The operation was carried out on Monday, and comprised of personnel attached to the Tallaght Drug Divisional Unit, uniform units and Garda Dog Unit.
Following the searches, the seized items were later handed over to staff from Revenue’s Custom Services.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
