Since then, residents have frequently complained of late night noise, large volumes of food and drink litter, and public urination.
Fine Gael Cllr. Fintan Brett is Chair of the Kildare Joint Policing Committee, and has been speaking with Gardai on the matter.
On Kildare Today, he says there will an increased presence in the square this weekend.
