Locals are being reminded of the dangers of bonfires, especially in light of past incidents involving gas cylinders.
A number of years ago, a gas cylinder exploded in the centre of a bonfire in Newbridge, causing extensive damage to the surrounding area.

She said the incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers of being near a bonfire.
