No injuries have been reported, but both scenes have undergone detailed technical and forensic examination.
Gardaí in Athy are investigating a series of suspected arson and criminal damage incidents that took place on the night of October 14th.
At around 9:45pm, emergency services responded to reports of a van on fire in the Ardew area.
In a statement to Kfm, a Garda spokesperson said multiple reports were also received of damage to nearby properties.
Shortly after, Gardaí were alerted to further criminal damage at a second location in the Smallford area of Athy.

Investigations are ongoing, and Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Ardew or Smallford areas between 9pm and 11pm to come forward - particularly motorists or pedestrians with dash cam or other camera footage.
