Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

KCC Bids For Landmark Newbridge Property.

Is understood the council, if successful, plans to convert Liffey Lodge to community use.

Kildare County Council has bid to purchase a keynote Newbridge building.

Liffey Hall is the former residence of the Patrician Brothers in the town.

The 650sq /7,000sq ft property was built in 1963, and site on 1.1 hectares of land, with River Liffey frontage and abuts Chapel Lane.

It has a dozen bedrooms and numerous reception rooms.

When the property went on the market in August, it was guiding at €750,000.

Is understood KCC, if successful in its bid, plans to convert the building to community use.
