Kfm, Kildare's No.1Radio Station, is Recruiting a News/Sport Journalist.
The Role: FULL-TIME
- Deliver quality hourly on-air News & Sports Bulletins.
- Generate copy and audio content for on-air and Kfm Social Media
- Regularly updating www.kfmradio.com and Social Media with relevant content
- Liaise with News and Current Affairs Team re: relevant material
- Be available for weekend holiday/absence cover, if required
Requirements
- Possess excellent News compilation, scripting and editing skills
- A comprehensive knowledge of current affairs/sport, nationally and Kildare
- Technical proficiency in Radiomation, Cool Edit, Adobe etc
- Proficiency in Social Media
- A full driving licence.
This is a key full-time position in the Kfm News Room, requiring passion and commitment to the highest News production ethic, focussed on timely delivery of optimum quality content on air and on-line and requiring the keenest News sense: local, national and international.
