Kildare County Council are delighted to announce that Shannon Reid, Assistant Civil Defence Officer, Kildare Civil Defence, and Aaron Cullen, Volunteer, Kildare Civil Defence, achieved 3rd place in the Trauma Complex Challenge at the recent World Rescue Challenge.
Kildare Civil Defence were also ranked as the 4th best Trauma Team globally.
The team were assessed on their pre-hospital emergency care and “lifesaving” capabilities. The results highlight the high standard of training and professionalism of Civil Defence Volunteers throughout Ireland.
The Kildare team has achieved a significant accomplishment by showcasing excellent technical skills and care.
