Various road closure's will be in place between 9th April-2nd May.
Kildare County Council have released temporary road closure's to take place around the county this April.
This includes the M7 Eastbound from J14 (Monasterevin) to J13 (Kildare Town) and the link road between J14 interchange and R445.
The closure will happen between 19:00 - 05:00 at various dates from 9th April - 2nd May, to facilitate road upgrade works.
Alternative routes have been published by Kildare County Council which include directions:
1.) Divert at J14 using the off slip Eastbound.
At the roundabout take the first exit and proceed to the T junction with the R445, then turning right.
Continue for 6.5km to Kildare Town and on to the T junction with the R415 signposted M7 & R415. Turn right onto the R415.
Proceed onto the second roundabout, taking the first exit to rejoin the M7 Eastbound.
2.) Use J14 on slip Eastbound to join the M7.
Continue for 6km before exiting at J13 using the off slip Eastbound.
At the roundabout take the first exit onto the R415.
Proceed to the T junction, turning left onto the R445. Continue for approximately 6.5km to Monasterevin.
3.) Continue on the R445 for 6.5km to Kildare Town, at the T junction with the R415 signposted M7 & R415, turn right onto the R415.
Proceed straight through the first two roundabouts, taking the second exit off each roundabout.
At the third roundabout, take the second exit from the roundabout onto the Westbound on slip and join the M7 Westbound.
Continue along the M7 to J14.
