The operation was mounted by Naas Roads Policing Unit.
The driver was detected over the limit - and it was subsequently found they were an unaccompanied learner driver.
Gardai say proceedings are to follow.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks in Kildare this Sunday when they found this car travelling over the 50kph speed limit. Using the #MobilityApp, it was found that the driver was an unaccompanied learner.
