Witnesses claimed he advised against Covid vaccinations and displayed anti-vaccine posters in his clinic.
A Kilcock-based GP, Dr. Neville Wilson, faces allegations of professional misconduct for disregarding HSE Covid-19 guidelines, preferring international studies instead.
At a Medical Council hearing, Dr. Wilson, of The Harbour Medical Clinic, argued that Irish health guidelines held "little relevance" for him and denied all allegations of misconduct.
Witnesses claimed he advised against Covid vaccinations and displayed anti-vaccine posters in his clinic.
According to the Irish Independent, Dr. Wilson defended his stance as "pro-science" rather than anti-vaccine, while the Medical Council’s expert, Dr. Tríona Marnell, argued his actions contradicted public health standards.
The inquiry’s findings are pending.
