It comes as they are now out of operation

People in Kildare are being urged not to use Liberty Recycling textile banks stationed across the county.

The clothes recycling charity is alleged to have been laundering money, with the banks now out of operation as a result.

Depositing at these banks could result in a fine.

Locals are also being reminded to use alternative clothes banks which are located across the county, to avoid situations of clothes building up at Liberty Recycling's banks.

Yesterday (3 November),the Tánaiste called on Aengus O'Snodaigh to make a statement before the Dáil on his involvement in Liberty Recycling.

The Sinn Féin TD is chairman of the charity.

The party says Deputy O'Snodaigh has written to the Ceann Comhairle asking to make a personal statement.
