The awards ceremony was hosted for secondary schools that had successfully completed this year's European Parliament Ambassador Schools Programme
Students from Maynooth Post Primary School have been presented with awards for their successful completion of this year's European Parliament Ambassador Schools Programme (EPAS).
MEP Aodhán Ó Ríordáin and MEP Barry Cowen presented the awards during a ceremony in Europe House last Friday.
Students had the chance to present their work to the MEPs and ask questions, leading to a wide-ranging discussion from EU values to Irish neutrality, fuel prices, AI and enlargement.
The programme, which is in it's 10th year, included 85 schools in Ireland in 2026, and a network of over 2000 secondary and vocational schools across the EU.
