Kildare's Paul Mescal's dedicated his Bafta to his Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones.
He won the Best Actor award last night for his role as Connell in the TV drama.

The Maynooth star beat off stiff competition from the likes of John Boyega and Josh O'Connor.
The 25 year old was visibly emotional accepting the prize:
