Kildare County Council has shared the following alternative routes:
Southbound Traffic, at the junction of the L7008/L7007 (Springfield Crossroads) head westbound to the Junction of the L7008/R414 (Tullylost Crossroads). At the junction turn left onto the R414 and head southbound to the junction of R414/L7012 (Ballykelly Crossroads). At the junction turn left onto theL7012 and head eastbound to the junction of L7012/L7011 (Crossmorris Crossroads) where the diversion ends.
Northbound Traffic, at the junction of the L7012/L7011 (Crossmorris Crossroads) travel on the L7012 in a westbound direction to the junction of L7012/R414 (Ballykelly Crossroads). At the junction turn right onto the R414 and head in a northbound direction to the junction of R414/L7008 (Tullylost Crossroads). At the junction turn right onto the L7008 and finish the diversion at the junction of L7008/L7007 (Springfield Crossroads)
