Revenue says there has been strong engagement from property owners ahead of the original deadline, which was today.

The deadline to file the Local Property Tax returns has been extended to Wednesday.

Revenue says there has been strong engagement from property owners ahead of the original deadline, which was today.

People will now have until 5.30pm on Wednesday to make those returns.

So far, 1.4 million have been filed - around 140,000 more than at the same stage in the last revaluation cycle in 2022.
