Almost 40,000 euro in cash was found after the man's vehicle was stopped on the M1 in Co. Meath yesterday.
Follow-up searches at a property in Newbridge in Kildare uncovered 240,000 euros worth of cocaine and 1.2 million euros worth of cannabis.
The seizure was part of Operation Tara, which targets street dealing around the country.
