McGregor can appeal the decision to An Bord Pleanála.
Plans for a large-scale mansion for MMA fighter Conor McGregor in Straffan have been refused by Kildare County Council.
McGregor submitted plans for a 32,693 sq ft six-bedroom mansion to replace his current five-bedroom home at The Paddocks, Straffan.
The proposed estate includes a cinema, bar, games area, and two swimming pools on a 10-acre site.
A proposal recently submitted on his behalf said the mansion would not impact locals.
McGregor can appeal the decision to An Bord Pleanála.
