The mean figure now stands at €310,000.
Mean Kildare home prices have risen by €25,000, in the year to August.
The CSO has released its Residential Property Price Index.
It shows the mean price of homes sold in the county in August of this year was €310,000.
In the same month last year, that figure was €285,000

In Dublin the price of a house or apartment increased by 10.2 per cent , while outside the capital they jumped by 11.5 per cent.
CSO figures show the highest price rise in Dublin was in South Dublin at over 12 per cent.
Outside Dublin the largest increase in house prices was in the border region, at over 20 per cent.
Trevor Grant, Chairperson of the Association of Irish Mortgage Advisors isn't surprised by the continued sharp rise in prices
