In a separate operation, a car, not taxed for over 1,100 days was seized.
Two drivers have been arrested at a Naas Roads Policing unit checkpoint, one for drink driving and the other having tested positive for cocaine.
The checkpoint was mounted on Sunday.
Gardai say proceedings are to follow against both motorists.
Naas Roads Policing Unit operated a checkpoint on Sunday evening and found one motorist driving under the influence of alcohol and another under the influence of cocaine.

In a separate operation, Naas RPU encountered a vehicle not taxed for 1,171 days.
It was also uninsured and had not been NCT'd in four years.
The car has been impounded and "proceedings commenced."
Naas Roads Policing Unit encountered this vehicle on patrol earlier. Vehicle was checked using the Mobility App which revealed tax had expired 1171 Days . Car was also uninsured and without NCT for 4 years.
