KCC says works are "progressing well"
Kildare County Council has confirmed that works on a new pumping station at Osberstown Court in Sallins are "progressing well".
This follows a request for an update from Fianna Fail Cllr. Carmel Kelly at the recent Naas Municipal District meeting.
In its response, KCC said that there have been some minor delays owing to adverse weather and some ongoing resource issues of a third-party contactor in relation to machinery.
However, it said that these issues are being managed and to date have not impacted the overall project programme.
Works to the pumping station are due to be completed by the 1st of December, subject to weather conditions and the station is expected to be live by mid-December, subject to ESB connection.
