Newbridge is in mourning this morning following the death of well-known local businessman Vivian Carroll.
Mr Carroll was deeply embedded in community life and was best known through his work at Judge Roy Beans and Harrigan’s.
Tributes describe him as a charitable and community-minded man, with long-standing support for Newbridge Men’s Shed, local football clubs, youth organisations and voluntary committees.
He was also a major supporter of local fundraising efforts.

As a mark of respect, Judge Roy Beans has confirmed it will remain closed until further notice.
