Investigations are continuing.
Arrests have yet to be made following two incidents of criminal damage to a property on the Celbridge Road in Leixlip on January 30th and February 7th.
Gardai responded to reports of a fire at a vacant residential property on the Celbridge Road in Leixlip at around 1:30 am on Wednesday, February 7th.
No individuals were present inside the building during the incident, but the property, a seven-bedroom dormer bungalow, suffered significant damage.
KFM understands speculation was circulating within the community about the premises being used to accommodate asylum seekers.
Gardaí continue to appeal to members of the local community who may be able to assist Gardaí to come forward.
