Over €4 million in suspected cocaine has been seized in Kildare and Wexford, following an intelligence-led operation.
Yesterday, as a result of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation TARA, an operation was put in place with personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Revenue Customs Service.
This operation involved searches of a business premises in Co. Kildare and residential addresses in Wexford.
It resulted in the seizure of a total of 58kg of suspected cocaine, with an estimated value of €4,060,000.
