Kildare County Council approved plans for 234 homes on an 8.7-hectare sits beside Naas Racecourse on October 5th.

Plans also provide for a childcare facility, public and communal open spaces, play areas and car and bicycle parking.
New roads, foot paths, landscaping and other infrastructure are also included in the project.
The development is being undertaken by Ballymore Group, with the original planning application submitted in May.
