A public meeting is taking place tonight to discuss the housing of refugees in various locations in West Wicklow, just over the Kildare border.
Refugees are already being housed or will be housed in the former Crooksling Nursing Home, Kippure Lodge and the Shankhill Army Camp, all of which are located in the Kilbride/Blessington area.
The public meeting takes place in St Bridget’s Hall in Kilbride at 8pm.
Local Independent Cllr. Gerry O’Neill outlined some of the concerns residents in the area have on this morning’s Kildare Today programme.
