The case will return to Longford District Court on February 4, and Blanchardstown District Court on February 5 for further directions.
A Romanian man and woman who stole hundreds of euro worth of perfume in Leixlip and Longford have been barred from both areas.
Marius Vaduva (38) and Andrea Budeanu (36), both from Inchicore, Dublin, were charged with stealing €2,688 worth of perfume from Wards Pharmacy in Longford on January 14.
The pair also face charges related to a similar incident at Griffins Pharmacy in Leixlip, Kildare, on November 27, where perfume worth €274 was allegedly stolen.
They admitted guilt, according to the Irish Independent, for the Longford theft but did not plead to the Leixlip charges.
Both were brought before Mullingar District Court and granted bail under strict conditions: they must reside at their Dublin address, sign in weekly at Kilmainham Garda Station, provide contact details, avoid Longford and Leixlip, and surrender their Romanian travel documents.
Each was required to pay a €500 cash lodgement.
They also paid €1,000 in compensation, with €688 outstanding to be paid later.
The case will return to Longford District Court on February 4, and Blanchardstown District Court on February 5 for further directions.
