There has been a serious collision on the M7 outbound between Junction 5 Athgoe and Junction 6 Castlewarden.
The hard shoulder and lane one are currently affected.
Traffic is now backed up to Avoca in Rathcoole, and Kfm have received reports that a Jeep has been loaded onto a tow truck.
It is also reported that a number of fire brigades are at the scene.
