The Lots of Socks campaign encourages people across Ireland to wear colorful, mismatched socks to raise awareness and funds for DSI.
Conn Brennan, a six-year-old from Newbridge, joined Taoiseach Micheál Martin at Government Buildings to help launch Down Syndrome Ireland’s (DSI) Lots of Socks campaign.

The event marks the start of a month-long celebration leading up to World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st.
The Lots of Socks campaign encourages people across Ireland to wear colourful, mismatched socks to raise awareness and funds for DSI.
This year’s limited-edition sock design was created by nine-year-old Rachel Gillanders from Monaghan, symbolising individuality and inclusion.
The campaign’s theme, Support Our Dreams, highlights the importance of providing opportunities and support for people with Down syndrome to achieve their goals.
Schools, workplaces, and communities are encouraged to host Lots of Socks events to spread awareness and raise funds for essential services provided by DSI.
