Cpl Smyth was found in an unresponsive state by his colleagues at the Curragh Camp on Friday night
Tributes have been paid to Corporal Terry Smyth, 32, after his death at the Curragh Training Centre in Co Kildare.
Cpl Smyth, who had served with the Defence Forces for 13 years, was found unresponsive by colleagues on Friday night.
Originally from Kildare, he joined the Defence Forces in 2011 and held various positions, including with the 7 Infantry Battalion and the Defence Forces Physical Education School.
He also served on peacekeeping missions in Lebanon and Syria.
