The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon
Two bikes have been stolen from the Grand Canal Stores bicycle repair shop in Sallins.
It's understood the incident occurred yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) at around 3 o'clock.
The two bikes had been left in to the shop to be repaired, but were taken by two youths who walked in to the courtyard at the back of the shop and fled the scene.
The two bikes in question are a black Liv ladies hybrid bike and a blue ladies Cannondale bike with a high seat post.
Owner of the Grand Canal Stores, Ger Loughlin says this a loss they "cannot afford" and has appealed to anyone who might have any information to get in touch.
