There will be seven sites across Kildare that will allow people to recycle their Christmas trees from next week.
Commencing on January 5th, Kildare County Council is providing seven sites where locals can bring their real Christmas trees to be recycled in a sustainable way.
The seven locations are:
- Athy, Meeting Lane Carpark
- Council Yard, Celbridge Interchange
- Clane, GAA Club
- Naas, Fairgreen
- Newbridge, Lidl Distribution Centre (beside the R445 Roundabout)
- Maynooth, Council Depot, beside Fire Station
- Monasterevin, Moore Abbey Coillte Carpark
The sites are open from Monday the 5th of January till Monday the 19th of January 2026.
