Ali Maguire died in hospital on Friday with head injuries, which she sustained at a house in Dungannon.
A 24-year-old woman was arrested yesterday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, causing or permitting the death of a child and child cruelty.
Officers have also been given more time to question a 32-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder.
