97.7% Vote In Favour Of Airlines Industrial Action

Following this, a paper ballot is now being carried out by the Irish Airline Pilots' Association

Aer Lingus is being accused of using "law-fare" to interfere with the rights of pilots.

The airline questioned the results of an electronic ballot of pilots' union members this week, which saw 97.7% vote in favour of industrial action.

A paper ballot is now being carried out by the Irish Airline Pilots' Association this weekend.

Union President, Captain Mark Tighe says the company's actions were predictable.
