A man in his 70s is the latest fatality on the country's roads after a crash in Westmeath yesterday.
The single-van collision happened in the Gainstown area of Mullingar at around 7pm last night.
The sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is being asked to contact Gardaí.
