A woman's died after an assault in Limerick City.
The body of the woman , aged in her 20s, was discovered at a property on Dock Road.
It happened at half one this afternoon.
The woman's body remains at the scene, which is currently preserved for technical examination.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
