With homeless figures sky rocketing
4 thousand local authority homes have remained vacant for the past 8 months according to Aontú.
This comes following yesterdays homeless figure which show 14 thousand 17 hundred people along with over 4 and a half thousand children are registered as homeless.
The Government have been accused of making the homeless figures worse and failing on every front in their lack of action in tackling family's without a home.
Aontú Party Leader Peader Tobin says its taking 8 months to get vacant homes back into use.
