A cyclist in his 50s was hospitalised after being hit by a car in Dundalk in Co Louth, which then fled the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for information on what they're describing as 'an incident of endangerment', which happened at 3pm on Sunday on the Castletown Road.
The driver of the car fled the scene, while the cyclist was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and has since been released.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward, in particular anyone with dashcam footage.
