DAA submitted an application with Fingal County Council last year
DAA is warning a decision on its efforts to ease flight restrictions at the new runway at Dublin Airport might not be made until 2024.
The €320 million project is due to open in the summer of next year.
Conditions attached to the original approval include a ban on take-off and landings between 11pm and 7am.
DAA submitted an application with Fingal County Council last year to get some of the rules removed.
The Irish Times reports a decision is expected next year but if it's appealed, a final ruling may not come until the start of 2024.
