A former consultant in Emergency Paediatrics says she doesn't think the new Children's Hospital will be ready to use for 10 years.
It's after the Oireacthas Health Committee, on which sits Kildare North Fine Gael TD, Bernard Durkan, heard yesterday the project would be completed in December 2023 and open in the second half of 2024.
Kill based BAM is the main contractor.
However, Dr Roisín Healy isn't sure the facility will be ready by that date.

The Green Party leader has said he can't provide an estimate for the cost of the new National Children's Hospital.
It comes after officials revealed there are 900 outstanding claims for extra money from the builder.
