The move will bring its staff levels to over 4,200 over the next year.
EY has announced the creation of 816 jobs.
The roles will be based across its seven offices throughout the country.
EY Ireland said increasing demand for its services and fundamental changes brought about by the pandemic, were key to its decision to expand.
Frank O'Keeffe, managing partner at EY Ireland, said he expects the jobs to be filled within the next year.
