Effects of ransomeware attack on it's IT system continue today.
The HSE says it CAN'T reassure people that their confidential information won’t be leaked online.
Investigations are continuing into the extent of the cyber-attacks on the HSE and the Department of Health.

Many appointments have been cancelled as a result and runners are being used in hospitals to physically hand results from one department to another.
Chief Operations Officer with the HSE, Anne O’Connor, says they still don’t know what private data has been stolen.
The Government says it won’t be paying the ransom as it would leave the country open to further attacks.
Junior Minister Ossian Smyth, doesn’t believe it would stop the hackers publishing confidential information in any case.

This morning, Justice Minister Heather Humphreys met the Garda Commissioner Drew Harris to discuss the cyberattack on the HSE.
She also met with the head of the Garda Cybercrime Bureau Detective Chief Superintendent Paul Cleary who's responding to the event.
An Garda Siochana is working with the National Cyber Security Centre and international law enforcement partners.
The Minister was also updated on the criminal investigation into the cyberattack.

The Taoiseach has convened a meeting of political party leaders this afternoon to be updated on the cyberattack on the HSE.
The Ministers for Justice and Health will update opposition leaders alongside head of the HSE Paul Reid and officials from the National Cyber Security Centre
