We all have the ability to make our community more understanding and inclusive for people with dementia.
That's one of the key messages of the 'Understand Together' campaign led by the HSE and a range of other organizations and advocacy groups.
On the 'Kildare Today' show, Muriel Moore, dementia advocate and member of the Dementia Carers Campaign Network spoke to us about ways we can all help in our communities.
Muriel also shared her own story of caring for her husband Martin, who had dementia.
