A jury has found a man guilty of murdering his ex girlfriend at her home in Co. Wicklow in 2019.
Nadine Lott was beaten to the point where she was unrecongisable to her family and died in hospital 3 days after the attack in Arklow.
Today, after just under 6 hours of deliberations, Daniel Murtagh, of Melrose Grove, Bawnogue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, was found guilty of murdering the 30 year old.
He had denied the charge, claiming he was intoxicated at the time.
He's due back in court in October to face a mandatory life sentence.
