John O'Meara, who recently won a Supreme Court judgement to be paid a widower's pension following the death of his long-term partner, Michelle, will be voting Yes-Yes next week.
A number of organisations, representing different family types, are calling for a Yes-Yes vote in next Friday's referendums.
One Family, Treoir, and the National Women's Council are among the groups calling for voters to support proposed changes around family and care.
The first would see a wider definition of family adopted by the State, while the second proposes to remove reference to a woman's place being in the home, and add new text around care provided by other family members.
